Emily Ley Palmieri brings a unique combination of Wall Street financial expertise, international experience, and strategic real estate insight to The Ellitan Group. Licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC since 2016, Emily specializes in helping clients navigate residential and commercial real estate, investment properties, and business acquisitions with confidence and clarity.

Before transitioning into real estate, Emily built an accomplished career in institutional finance, holding positions at Citigroup and J.P. Morgan, where she advised corporate clients on complex financial transactions and rose to the position of Vice President. She also served as a Financial Analyst at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where her responsibilities included oversight of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Emily earned her MBA from Georgetown University and graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University, double majoring in Art History and Spanish. Her international career began in Spain, where she taught Art History and Architecture, followed by work in cross-border capital markets involving Latin American sovereign debt and international arbitration matters.

Today, Emily applies that same analytical rigor and financial discipline to real estate. Whether guiding a first-time homebuyer, evaluating a commercial investment, or advising on a business acquisition, she focuses on identifying opportunities, understanding risk, and developing strategies that support her clients' long-term financial goals. Her international perspective and conversational Spanish further strengthen her ability to serve a diverse clientele.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Emily is a mother of three who enjoys skiing, running, yoga, and Pilates. An accomplished pianist and dedicated choir singer, she brings creativity, discipline, and a genuine passion for helping others to everything she does.
